Brendan was born in New Westminster, B.C. on October 29, 1977. The youngest child, he and his two older sisters were raised by their mother who is the case manager at the Stone Mountain Correctional Institute. Because of his love for numbers, when he was younger, he considered becoming an accountant. In 1990, Brendan moved to Winnipeg to continue his education at the University of Manitoba. There, he helped support himself by modeling for local catalogue companies. When he visited his family in Vancouver in 1997, he approached the Look Talent Management company to land some modeling jobs, and it was they who suggested that he would be well-suited for acting. Brendan decided to give it a try and within a week he had landed a small role in the UPN show Breaker High. He continued to do guest spots in shows such as Millennium (in two episodes), The New Addams Family and the syndicated show Night Man. He also appeared in TV movies such as "Every Mother's Worst Fear" on USA and "Our Guys" on ABC. He had a small role in the movie "Disturbing Behavior" with fellow WB'er Katie Holmes and has the lead role in the upcoming independent film "Christina's House" as Eddy. In his time away from the set, he enjoys hockey and golf.

Majandra has a very Latin background; her father is Venezuelan and her mother is Cuban-American. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, she spent the first few years of her life there before moving to Miami, Florida when she was 3 years old. As a child she was very interested in the arts and performing, taking ballet, singing, and acting lessons. At the age of 10, she danced with the Miami Ballet in a production of "The Nutcracker." As a teenager she and one of her best friends, Samantha Gibb, daughter of the Bee Gee's Maurice Gibb, started their own band called China Girl. Specializing in Latin-styled pop, the band once opened for the Bee Gees at a benefit concert at the Fountainbleu Hotel in Miami Beach. Since then, both she and Samantha have left the group but continue to write and sing together. When she was 15, her concerned parents gave her an ultimatum--either make something out of her acting career in six months, or focus on her studies. Majandra made something out of her career, she landed an agent and won the role of Kathleen Quinlan's daughter in the movie "Zeus and Roxanne." Soon after this she was cast as the oldest daughter of Tony Danza in the short-lived ABC show The Tony Danza Show. Despite the failure of this show, Majandra went on to other roles, winning the part of Maria in Roswell. Her upcoming features include the movie "I Know What You Screamed Last Summer," a spoof on horror films, "The Secret of Girls" with Linda Hamilton, and the independent film "The Learning Curve." As the youngest member of the cast, she recently graduated from High School.

Based on the young adult book series "Roswell High" by Melinda Letz, this new show was originally set to debut on FOX, but internal indecision at FOX led to it's debut on the WB network. Developed by David Nutter (of The X-Files fame) and Jason Katims (from My So-Called Life) and produced by Star Trek: The Next Generation's Jonathon Frakes, Roswell's pedigree is one of the finest around.

"Most importantly, [Roswell]'s a love story." David Nutter.

Debuting on October 6, 1999, the show has already paid off for the WB, and has quickly become a hit, building on it's lead-in Dawson's Creek. Whatever the reason for the FOX network to turn this hit away, their loss has most definitely been the WB's gain!
