Prologue
A three year old Nathan walked into the kitchen on Sunday morning.
“Why can't I go with Lacey and Megan?”
Patrick picked up Nathan to put him in the chair and said “You're not old enough to go,”
“When will I get to go?” Nathan asked.
“When you're older and you're in high school,” Patrick responded.
Back in Megan's bedroom Robin was helping her and Lacey were packing clothes to get ready for when they left for spring break the next day.
“I'm like so ready for a break from school!” Lacey exclaimed pressing a tank top up against her to see if it would look good.
“Same here!” Megan said raising her hand she had already painted.
“I thought you were liking school?” Robin said raising her eyebrows.
“Oh I do it's just if I have to take another proficiency test my head will explode!”
“You've had a lot of tests lately, you should get a break,”
Their was a knock on the door “Does you're room look like a cyclone hit it?” Patrick asked on the other side of the door.
“Enter with caution,” Megan said before opening the door careful not to mess up her nails.
Patrick walked in with Nathan trailing behind him to find bikini's, tank tops, shorts and mini skirts in random spots of the room.
“That's a lot of clothes,” Nathan stated.
“Yeah it is, you do realize you're only going for a week right?”
Megan rolled her eyes and said “Yes I know, but I have to have a bathing suit for everyday of the week, Plus mini skirts, tank tops and shorts.”
“Okay…” Patrick said.
“Megan, what one do you think I should wear between these two?” Lacey asked holding up a white bikini with sequins and a pink one.
“The white one,” Megan said.
Megan crammed a makeup bag in her suitcase full of clothes and sat on it in an attempt to close it.
“Need help?” Patrick asked
“Yeah,” Megan replied.
It took both Robin and Patrick to get the suitcase to close.

Chapter 1
Megan rolled over looking at her digital clock it read 11:55 A.M.
Megan smiled she got to sleep in until almost noon. She pried herself slowly out of bed and staggered downstairs.
Robin was sitting at the table with Nathan and Patrick stood at the counter.
“So we finally decided to wake up?”
“Hey It's the start of my spring break I'm allowed to sleep until noon,”
“I don't get eight hours of sleep during the school week,”
Robin's eyebrows shot up “Do you have to start going to bed before eleven?” she said teasingly
“Very funny,” Megan said pouring herself some chocolate milk.
When Nathan waddled into the living room Megan asked “Are you guys sure you don't want me to stay here?”
“Why do you not want to go?” Patrick asked.
“No, I definitely want to go, I was just wondering if you guys were still okay with me going,”
Robin and Patrick looked at each other.
“We're still okay with you going, you deserve to have fun,” Robin said.
Megan smiled at Robin then looked in Patrick's direction.
“We trust you, we know how responsible you are,” Patrick said remembering all the situations Megan had been put into.
About that time the phone rang.
“Hello?” Megan answered
“Hey, it's Lacey wasn't it cool to just get to sleep as late as we wanted?”
“Oh yeah!” Megan replied
“Do you want to take my car or yours?” Lacey asked.
“Either one is fine with me,” Megan replied.
“We can take mine, I'll be there in 45 minutes?”
“Okay but I'm still not dressed my hair's not even fixed.” Megan replied.
“I'm still not dressed either so that's fine,” Lacey replied before they hung up.
“Megan finished the last of her milk and bolted up the stairs.
Robin got up and went over to the counter and Patrick pulled her in closer to him as they started kissing. As the kiss deepened they heard Nathan yell from the other room.
“You do realize theirs a kid in the house!”
Robin and Patrick rested their foreheads against each other and they both said “How could we forget?”
Megan came down the stairs half an hour later and Nathan ran up to her and said “Mommy and daddy were kissing!”
Megan laughed “Nathan as you get to be older like seventeen you get used to it I did,”
Nathan still looked confused but went on playing.
Lacey's car pulled up and she laid on the horn.
Patrick and Robin pulled away from each other to hug Megan good bye.
“Now you said you'd call us when you got there right?” Patrick asked.
“Right,” Megan replied.
Before Megan went out the door Robin whispered “I'll make sure your dad doesn't go nuts okay?”
“Okay, just make sure he doesn't drive you insane in the process.” Megan replied.
“Trust me he won't,” Robin said hugging Megan goodbye.
“Bye guys!” Megan said as she went out the door.

Chapter 2
After driving for an hour they got to the beach and the place their parents had helped them pay for to stay for a week. Cameron and Alex got out of their car and headed up the steps to the house. When they walked in Megan and Lacey had already staked claim to what room was theirs. Alex and Cameron snuck up behind each girl as quietly as possible and wrapped their arms around Megan and Lacey's waist. Both girls squealed until they realized it was Cameron and Alex.
Both boys laughed at the way Megan and Lacey reacted.
“Very funny,” Lacey said whacking Alex's arm.
She looked over at Megan to see her reaction but, Megan already had her arms wrapped around Cameron's neck kissing him.
“Come on, let's leave them to their mini make out session.” Lacey said taking Alex's hand leading him to the other room.
After they pulled away Cameron asked “So your parents actually let you go on spring break?”
“Yeah they said they trust me,”
“What about your parents?” Megan asked intertwining her fingers with Cameron's.
“My mom said it was and she trusted me like your parents said but, my dad was kind of reluctant at first,” Cameron said knowing Lucky wasn't his biological dad but he'd always thought of him as his dad.
As Cameron was helping Megan unpack and he saw how many clothes she packed he said “God, how many clothes do you need for a week?”
“Theirs a method to my madness, you should know that by now.” Megan said.
“Yeah I should,” Cameron responded.
After they finally unpacked all of their stuff Cameron and Megan went to look for Lacey and Alex but, didn't have to look far. Lacey and Alex were on the couch having a make out session of their own.
Megan held back a laugh “It didn't take them long,”
“No it didn't,”
Cameron and Megan shut the door and laid in the bed their fingers intertwined with each others and started kissing.
Megan pulled back and said “Kissing nothing more,”
“Kissing nothing more,” Cameron repeated in understanding.
“Promise?” Megan asked knowing she trusted Cameron but wanted to be sure he'd stick to it.
“Promise,” He whispered as they started kissing again.

Chapter 3
Megan slowly pulled away from Cameron.
“I should call my parents I told them I'd call when I got here,”
“Yeah I should call my mom and dad like I told them I would before I left,” Cameron said.
Cameron started out Megan's bedroom door and looked back and said “They're still going at it!”
“Now I know why Jason and Sam- especially Jason was reluctant to let her come.” Megan said remembering a few weeks earlier.
“Yeah I wonder why?” Cameron said rolling his eyes.
After Cameron left Megan shut the door and turned around.
Megan bit her bottom lip to fight the urge to squeal.
After she was sure she wasn't going to squeal she picked up the phone on the nightstand.
“Hello?” Nathan answered
“Nathan? Where's mom and dad?”
“In the living room,” Nathan responded.
“Doing what?” Megan asked thinking she already knew the answer.
“Kissing, they didn't hear the phone,”
Megan heard her dads voice in the background “Give me the phone Nathan,”
“Hello?” Patrick said through the receiver.
“Hi dad, I see you and mom have been busy while I've been gone ,”
“Very funny, you got there okay?” Patrick said.
“Yeah, we met up with Cameron and Alex at the Pizza Shack, then they took one car we took the other.”
“We just finished unpacking,”
“Okay, you know to call if you need anything,” Patrick said.
“Yeah I know, bye dad,”
“Bye,” Patrick said before hanging up.
When Megan hung up the phone she went out into the living room to find Cameron standing over Lacey and Alex.
“They're still going at it?” Megan asked with pure amusement.
“Yeah, they haven't come up for air in at least fifteen minutes,” Cameron said looking at the clock.
Megan let out a little laugh.
She stood over the couch “Hey!” Megan yelled snapping her fingers
“What?” Lacey asked still not parting herself from Alex's.
“Are you guys ever going to come up for air or here's an idea actually stop making out long enough to go to the beach, or do you just plan to make for seven days?”
Cameron laughed at Megan's attempt to separate Lacey and Alex.
“Can't we do both?” Alex asked.
Megan looked at Cameron and rolled her eyes
“Well, okay when you guys decide to come up for air me and Cameron will beach.
After Megan changed into her hot pink bikini her and Cameron headed down to the beach. They set down a towel and Megan sat between Cameron's legs and rested herself against him.
Even though it was hot their was a cool breeze and Megan shivered a little bit. Cameron noticed and wrapped his arms around her.
“We actually get to spend a whole week like this?” Megan asked in a whisper.
“Yeah, we get to spend a whole week like this,” Cameron responded.
“You deserve it after the crap you went through last year.”
“Yeah, things have actually gotten back to normal, whatever that is in my household,”
“So, when do you think Lacey and Alex will decide to come outside?” Megan asked.
Cameron shrugged “Who knows?”
Megan lean her head back again and they started kissing.

Chapter 4
A few days passed and it was Wednesday they had three more days to stay at the beach. Lacey and Megan were laying on lounge chairs with their eyes shut.
“Do you remember what I told you I thought last year?” Lacey asked.
“Lacey I was told a lot of stuff last year, a lot of stuff I didn't want to hear like my dad was sick again, so I've basically tried to block my sophomore year out of my mind.” Megan said trying not to think about last year.
Lacey looked over to the one side of the beach where Cameron and Alex were playing beach volleyball.
“No, I mean after your dad came home and we were in your room and I asked you if you wanted to hear my take on things with you and Cameron and I asked you if you thought he might be in love with you?”
“Yeah, I remember,” Megan said flashing back to the day her dad came home…
“Have you talked to Cameron lately?” Lacey asked.
“Yeah we've talked a lot lately actually.”
“Do you want to hear my take on things?” Lacey asked.
“Sure,” Megan said.
“Okay, I've seen the way Cameron looks at you and they way he acts around you…” Lacey trailed off
“And?” Megan asked.
“Do you think maybe just maybe he might be in love with you?” Lacey asked in a whisper…

“Well I've seen the way you two have been since during that thing with your dad,”
“How have we been?” Megan asked lowering her sunglasses to look at Lacey.
“Um…Totally inseperable!”
Megan had to admit Lacey was right her and Cameron were together most of the time.
“Now for my next question do you think you could be in love with him?”
Megan thought about it for a minute, she really cared about him and their relationship had changed a lot since freshman year especially after last year,
Lacey leaned in closer and Megan whispered “I think maybe I am falling in love with Cameron,”
Lacey fought back a squeal.
“You're in love with Cameron?” Lacey asked still trying to refrain a squeal.
“I definitely having feelings for him,”
“Are you sure on what you said?” Megan asked.
Lacey gave her a “My god yes I'm sure” look.
“Okay you may not be able to notice it but looking back on stuff that's happened between you two I can tell you both goners!” Lacey declared.
About that time Alex and Cameron walked up to them”What are you talking about?” Alex asked.
“Girl stuff,” Lacey and Megan replied.
“Girl suff,” Alex repeated rolling his eyes.
“What type of girl stuff?”
This time Megan spoke up “That's none of your business,” Megan replied rolling her eyes at Alex but smiling at Cameron as he helped her up. Lacey gave Megan a look and her and Cameron walked further down the beach.
Before Megan had time to react Cameron swooped her up on his back. After she steadied herself on Cameron's back. They were quiet for a while intil Cameron couldn't hold Megan on his back anymore. When they were down on the sand Cameron started tickling her.
Megan squirmed and yelled “Stop I'm ticklish in that spot!”
So he stopped it ended up Cameron being on top and Megan laying in the sand.
Cameron bent his head down and Megan tilted hers.
When they pulled away Cameron whispered “ I love you,”
“I love you too,” Megan replied as they kissed again.

Chapter 5
That evening Cameron, Megan, Lacey and Alex sat at the kitchen table deciding between ordering pizza or fast food. Alex stood up and said “Everyone that wants pizza raise your straw,”
No one rasied their straw.
“This is a stupid way of deciding,” Lacey remarked.
“What the straws or Alex standing on a chair?” Megan asked.
“Both,”
“Yeah, well do you two-especially you, have any other suggestions?” Alex asked pointing his straw at Lacey.
“No,” Lacey said rolling her eyes.
“Then lets continue, because some of us would like to eat before midnight!” Alex said his eyes locked on Lacey.
“Everyone who wants fast food raise your straw,”
Everyone raised their straws.
“Okay, finally we have a descison!”
“I guess you want us to go get the food?” Alex asked still looking at Lacey.
“That would be nice,” Lacey said sarcastically batting her eyelashes at Alex.
Alex sighed “Fine we'll go get the food,”
At the door Lacey kissed Alex good bye and Megan kissed Cameron.
“I love you,” Cameron whispered.
“I love you too,” Megan whispered kissing him longer this time.
When Lacey and Megan went back to the couch Lacey looked at Megan in astonishment “Did Cameron just tell you he loved you and you didn't even looked surprised?”
Megan giggled a little remembering she hadn't gotten a chance to tell Lacey what happened on the beach.
“What?” Lacey asked wondering why Megan was giggling.
“This afternoon on the beach when we walked off by ourselves he told me.”
“Okay, Megan you don't just tell your best friend a guy you've been dating for three years of high school tells you he loves you and not give detail, spill it!” Lacey exclaimed.
“Well, we were walking and without me expecting it he just puts me on his back and we walk down most of the beach and he let me down on the sand. He ended up on top of me, he kissed me and said he loved me and I said it back,” Megan said dreamily.
Lacey and Megan went into the bedroom they were sharing, shut the door and hasd a squealing fit.
In the car on the way to the drive thru Alex and Cameron just finished telling Alex about what happened on the beach since he'd asked about it.
“So you actually told her that?” Alex asked.
“Yeah,” Cameron responded.
Before they could talk anymore about it out of nowhere a car came right in front of them, then everything went black…

Chapter 6
Megan and Lacey were on the couch flipping through the channels settling on Soapnet. Megan looked at the clock and wondered where Cameron and Alex were.
“Hey don't you think they've been gone to long?”
Lacey glanced at the clock “yeah they have been gone pretty long for just going through a drive-thru.”
About that time the phone rang.
Lacey picked it up.
“Hello?”
“It's Alex,”
“Alex where the heck are you and Cameron?” Lacey asked.
“Lacey we've gotten into a car wreck,” Alex said.
“Are you guys okay?”
At this Megan shot Lacey a “Tell me what the heck is going” look.
“I'm fine, but Camerons banged up pretty bad.” Alex said over the reciever.
“Okay he's going to GH right?” Lacey asked.
“Yeah they're sending an ambulance,” Alex responded.
“Okay we'll meet you down there” Lacey said before hanging up.
“What's wrong?” Megan asked.
“Alex and Cameron got in a car accident.” Lacey said
“Are they okay?”
“Alex is okay but, he's not sure about Cameron,”
Megan thought Oh my god they're not sure if Cameron's okay…He just has to be okay. At GH Robin and Patrick were called to the emergency room.
“What do you think it's about?” Robin asked as they walked toward the emergency room.
“I don't know, they said a car ran out in front of a car that two teenage boys were driving,” Patrick said.
When they got there Robin and Patrick looked at each other thinking “Oh my god,”
It was Cameron and Alex,Cameron looked like he was the one hurt the worst.
Robin went over to Alex who just had a few scratches and asked “Do Megan and Lacey know?”
“Yeah, I called them right after I called 911 they should be here soon,” Alex responded.
Robin nodded and headed toward the lobby.
A few minutes after she got there Lacey and Megan came through the doors.
“What's going on with Cameron?” Megan asked fighting back tears.
“We don't know yet sweetie,” Robin responded.
Lacey saw Jason walk in and said “I'll leave you two alone I'm going to go talk to my dad,”
Megan nodded.
Robin and Megan went to sit in one of the chairs.
“What happened?” Robin asked rubbing Megan's back.
“They were going out to get something to bring back to eat and then after awhile Alex called and said they got into an accident,”
“But you know the weird thing is this happens after what Cameron told me on the beach this afternoon,” Megan said.
“What did he tell you?”
“He told me he loved me,” Megan whispered.
Robin blinked trying to compute what her daughter had just told her.
“He said he loved you?” Robin asked.
“Yeah, and I said I loved him too, because I do,”
Robin was torn she was happy for Megan because she remembered what being in love for the first time felt like but, she also knew what it felt like when something happened to end it unexpectedly like when she loved Stone.
“Then he told me right before he left to get in the car,” Megan said.
Patrick came out of the ER and went into the lobby where Megan and Robin were.
“What happened?” Megan asked
Patrick sighed because he really didn't want to tell Megan what had happened.
“Tell me…” Megan trailed off.
“We need to get consent from Liz and Lucky to do surgery,”
“What for?” Megan asked knowing it was a stupid question but she was to upset to care.
“In the car crash Cameron hit his head and they think he might be in a coma,” Patrick said wincing at the pain he saw in his daughter's face.
Megan felt another stream of tears run down her cheeks.
Patrick saw this and pulled her into a hug while Roobin still comforted her. They looked at each other both thinking “How will we get her through this?”

Chapter 7
When Liz and Lucky walked into the hospital they went over to where Patrick and Robin were with Megan.
“What happened?” Liz asked fear evident in her voice.
“Alex and Cameron got in a car crash and Cameron was the one that got hurt,” Patrick said.
“Hurt how?” Lucky asked.
Patrick sighed as he glanced at Megan out of the corner of his eye. He hated that he had to say what he just told Megan again.
“In the crash Cameron hit his head and we think he might be in a coma but, we need to do surgery to know for sure.” Patrick said.
Liz had tears in her eyes but nodded.
Lucky and Liz looked at each other for a second.
“Go ahead and do the surgery,” Lucky said quietly.
Patrick nodded and headed to the locker room.
Robin watched as he went. She made sure Megan was okay and headed to the locker room.
Patrick closed his eyes as he lean his head against his locker thinking “This isn't just another surgery, If I would screw up Megan would be the one to get hurt…” Thoughts of how this would affect Megan kept going through his head until they were interrupted by Robin entering the room.
She walked over and touched Patrick's arm.
“Are you going to do it?” Robin asked softly.
Patrick looked at Robin and said “I don't know Robin,”
Robin knew why Patrick was debating whether to do the surgery.
“You're afraid you'll mess up because you're personally involved.” Robin said.
Patrick listened to what he had been thinking being put out there in words.
“Yeah, I am personally involved when my daughter's long-time boyfriend is the patient on the O.R. table,” Patrick said more sharply than he intended.
Robin winced at the sharpness in Patrick's voice.
“Patrick we're both personally involved, she's our daughter,”
“I'll have another surgeon do it,” Patrick said quietly looking at Robin.
Robin squeezed Patrick's hand reassuringly. As they left the locker room Robin and Patrick locked each other's gaze as if they made a silent pact that no matter how much this drained them both emotionally they had to hold themselves together because Megan would need them to keep her from falling apart.
Back in the waiting room Megan, Lacey, Alex, Liz and Lucky sat and waited for Robin and Patrick to come out. Lacey and Megan sat in silence wanting this to be a nightmare and not real life.
“How did our spring vacation go from having fun with our boyfriends to us having to wait in a waiting room because one of them could be seriously hurt?” Lacey asked with frustration.
“I don't know Lacey but, you know it wasn't all just fun their was some serious moments too,” Megan said.
“You mean when Cameron told you he loved you?” Lacey asked in a whisper.
“Yeah,” Megan whispered back.
“Well, to me anyway that would seem like a exciting serious, If you think about it you guys have dated almost all through high school,” Lacey said.
“Yeah I was excited about it he told me he loved me,”
About that time Patrick and Robin came into the room.
“We're going to do the surgery but, another surgeon will be performing it.” Robin spoke first.
Lucky and Liz seemed reluctant but agreed.
As they started the surgery Patrick and Robin waited with Megan. By this time Jason and Sam had shown up and were waiting with Lacey in another row of chairs.
It had started to get really late and Megan hadn't fallen asleep yet.
“You tired yet?” Patrick asked seeing Megan trying to keep her eyes open.
“No,” Megan said tiredly.
“If your not tired then why are your eyes shut?”
“I'm resting them,”
“I'm not going to sleep until I know what's wrong with Cameron.” Megan said.
“What if I go and check to see what's going on?” Robin offered.
“Maybe then I'll try to sleep,”
Robin got up to go check.
Megan rested her head on Patrick's shoulder and was asleep in five seconds.

Chapter 8
Robin came back to find Megan fast asleep with her head rested on Patrick's shoulder.
“She couldn't stay awake huh?”
“As soon as she laid her head on my shoulder she was out,” Patrick said careful not to shift his body position.
Robin smiled sympathetically.
“I don't know how much more of this type of thing she can take,”
“I know,” Patrick said glancing down at his daughter's sleeping form.
“She told me something this afternoon while we were out in the lobby,” Robin said hesitantly.
“What did she say?” Patrick asked.
“She said that earlier that afternoon when they were at the beach Cameron told her that he loved her,”
Patrick's mouth opened but no words came out because he wasn't prepared but, then again he hadn't been prepared to fall in love with Robin Scorpio when he came to Port Charles either.
“He said he loved her?”
“Yeah, she said she told him that she loved him too,” Robin said.
“We knew she'd fall in love eventually,”
“Yeah Robin I knew that I just wasn't prepared to find out about it in circumstances like this,” Patrick said.
“Anything else?”
“Actually…Yeah,” Robin responded.
“Do I even want to know?” Patrick asked as he covered his face with his hands.
“Before Alex and Cameron got into the car he told her he loved her again,”
“Oh boy,” Patrick said.
The surgeon that preformed the surgery came out.
Robin scooted over into the chair that Patrick had been sitting in so Megan wouldn't wake up.
When they were far enough away Patrick asked “what happened?”
“We found out he's in a coma,”
Patrick said a quiet “thank you” as he tried to figure out how to tell Megan.

Chapter 9
Liz and Lucky reacted the way Robin and Patrick thought they would. They had been really upset but so had Megan. Patrick stood at the window of the room they had placed Cameron in, he stared at the scene in front of him.
Megan in the chair next to Cameron's bed asleep with her arm over his stomach. He remembered when He first got together with Robin and coincidentally after he told her he loved her he got sick with a virus. History was repeating itself on his daughter and Patrick didn't like it at all.
“Is she still in there?” Robin asked.
“Yeah,” Patrick answered.
Robin stood by Patrick and looked into the window and remembered what happened after the first time he told her he loved her…
When she walked into the room they didn't say anything for a few minutes. Finally Robin spoke up “What happened?” “I don't know Robin.” Patrick said. Patrick saw how upset she was. “But I'm in one piece aren't I?' Patrick said trying to get her to smile the way she had the night before. “That's not funny.” Robin said trying to keep her voice steady to hide how scared she was. But despite her attempts Patrick saw it. “You're scared aren't you?” Robin sighed and said “Well after just getting off the phone with you're best friend and then to have her call you back a few minutes and say that…” Robin trailed off realizing what she was about to say. She started again slowly “The man I'm in love with was just admitted to GH yeah, I'm scared. Patrick sighed and said “Come here.” Robin crawled into the bed next to him.
Robin remembered how scared she was because she was in love and she hadn't been since Jason and then almost loosing Patrick.
Robin stared at the window and said “Doesn't it seem like history is repeating itself?”
Patrick looked away from the window at Robin.
“Yeah, that's what I was just thinking,” Patrick said.
“I mean not exactly but-”
“I know what you mean, you were thinking about what happened after the first time I told you I loved you,” Patrick said remembering how he had tried to protect her…
The next morning Noah Drake walked into the room they had put his son in. Patrick slowly woke up and saw his father and wasn't pleased. Robin woke up when he did. She asked “What's wrong?” Robin asked knowing their was by the look on Noah's face. “He has a viral infection.” Robin and Patrick exchanged glances. “What kind of infection?” Patrick asked looking at Noah and glancing at Robin. “It's attacking your heart and it's contagious.' Noah said. “It's also fatal.” Patrick looked at Robin knowing how it would affect her if she caught it.
After Noah left the room Patrick said “ You don't need to be around here if this is contagious and fatal.” “No I'm not leaving you and you just have to accept that.” Patrick sighed the thing he loved about Robin was her stubbornness but he also hated it especially in this situation. “But-” Patrick was cut off by Robin. Okay, you know me well enough to know how stubborn I am.” “Yes I do know that but in this case you can't be stubborn. “But I can go on Anti- virus meds that way I won't get sick.” Patrick thought about it and Robin was right. “Okay you're right but, I want you to start on the virus meds.”

“That happened right before I got pregnant with Megan,” Robin said remembering the first night they made love…
When he finally did he got under the covers with Robin. Before they started again Patrick asked “You're sure you want this?”
Robin nodded her head knowing what she wanted.
Patrick just wanted to make sure it was what Robin wanted, because he wanted it to be special for her. They intertwined their fingers together getting tangled up in the sheet. After they pulled apart breathless they just laid there and stared into each other's eyes.
“I love you.” Patrick said stroking Robin's hair gently.
“I love you too.” Robin said knowing that she would always love him.

Patrick smiled “That means we've been together for seventeen years,”
“Yeah you're right because I got pregnant with Megan the in the same year we got together.” Robin said.
“I just wish Megan didn't have to deal with this at this age,” Patrick said.
Robin knew Megan had always been “Daddy's girl” even through all the times she'd almost lost him.
“I know you want to protect her but, she's seventeen it's not like when she was younger and you could just kiss it and everything would be fine, I want to protect her as much as you do,”
Patrick knew it wasn't that easy anymore he definetly wanted to make this go away but he couldn't even with as much power he had as a doctor…

Chapter 10
Megan woke up in the clothes she'd been in the night before. She forgot what happened the night before because she let herself forget but, as soon as she turned her head to look at Cameron who looked like he was just sleeping reality hit her like a ton of bricks. She sighed as she remembered getting the call about the car crash, spring break turning into a nightmare because she found out Camern might be in a coma. But the one good thing that stuck out in her mind was Cameron telling her he loved her…
Lacey gave Megan a look and her and Cameron walked further down the beach.

Everything had seemed so perfect, they had been dating since their freshman year. Sure there had been a few glitches like having to compete against other girls but, that was natural in high school. Then their was the parties like at the Pizza Shack last year…
“Hey.” Cameron said putting his arm around Megan's waist.
“Hey yourself.” Megan said kissing Cameron and running her fingers through his hair.
“Okay, while you two have your little make out session I'm going to go get something to drink.”
Megan pulled away long enough to roll her eyes at Lacey.
Cameron leaned in to kiss Megan again.
When Megan was wedged between the side wall and Cameron she pulled out of the kiss. She pushed gently against his chest to back him away.
“We can't do this Cameron…” Megan said seeing the hurt expression on his face.
“I understand.” Cameron said knowing that his mom and dad would ground him and then Megan's dad would strangle him.
Megan sighed “It's not that I don't care about you or I'm not attracted to you it's just our parents would kill us and we'd never see anything but our bedrooms again.”
Cameron laughed and said “You have a point.”

Last year she said she was “Attracted” to him and she “Cared” about him but, after what happened last year a lot of things changed. She actually fell in love with him and they'd practically grown up together. Megan peeled away the blanket she figured her mom or dad covered her with.
Megan took hold of Cameron's hand and waited for any type of response but, got nothing. She thought “Okay, Cameron give me a squeeze anything,”
Her thoughts were interrupted by Patrick entering the room, there was a silence because neither of them knew what to say.
Megan gave a weak smile even though she knew it wouldn't fool her dad.
He didn't say anything he just gave her the look that said “You're not fooling me”
“You know you're not fooling me don't you, I'm your dad I know,” Patrick said waiting for Megan to respond.
“I know I'm not,” Megan said feeling tears in her eyes.
Patrick saw this and embraced her in a hug rubbing her back soothingly. He knew this was hard for her.
After they pulled out of the hug Patrick said “Come on let's go out into of the hall,”
“okay just one sec, I'll meet you out there,” Megan said.
Patrick nodded and walked out and watched from the window.
Megan walked over towards the bed leaned down and kissed Cameron's cheek and whispered “I love you,” in his ear.
Patrick watched from the window and wondered ehy Megan could never be cut a break.
While they were walking in the hall Megan asked “I guess mom told you what happened on the beach?”
“Yeah she did tell me,”
“So?” Megan asked waiting for her dad's input of all of this.
Patrick was quiet for a second trying to think of how to respond because he still trying to get the fact that his seventeen year old daughter was in love for the first time.
“I'm waiting for an answer dad…”
“Well… I was shocked at first because I was just told my daughter was in love for the first time and the circumstances,”
“But you okay with it?” Megan asked not sure how to word it other than that.
“yeah I'm okay with you being n love, I knew you'd grow up and it' happen eventually,”
“If I didn't go ballistic when you almost had- you know what with him I wouldn't with this I'm still a little shocked,” Patrick said.
“You know you you can actually say the word sex you don't have to say you know what, in the place of the word.”
Patrick gave her a “you better not even be thinking about it” look
“No, dad don't even think what I think you're thinking, I don't plan to do it for a long long time!” Megan said laughing.
“Good!” Patrick said in relief.
“But you're okay?”
“As okay as I can be in a situation, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do about going back to school Monday,” Megan said.
“Let's just get to that when we have to,” Patrick said as they walked to the waiting room.

Chapter 11
It was Friday so Megan would be having to go back to school on Monday but, she didn't know how she'd be able to concentrate because of how her life had been thrown into a talespin- yet again and she could loose the boy she loved. Megan was in Cameron's room when Robin came in.
“Megan me and your dad want to talk to you,”
“About what?” Megan asked.
Robin was hesitant “About school,”
Megan sighed but nodded, she knew it'd come up eventually.
Out in the lobby Patrick, Robin and Megan sat down.
“You guys wanted to talk about what I'm going to do about school,”
“We think you should try to go to school and see how you do,” Patrick said waiting for Megan to blow up at him since he knew it would be coming.
Megan's jaw dropped “Dad please, do I have to go?” Megan asked in a pleading tone.
He sighed “We think you should try to go,”
“But-” Megan said
Patrick put his hand on Megan's shoulder. “Megan,we know you're really upset about everything that's going on but, life doesn't stop just because something bad happens,”
Megan was quiet for a minute feeling a emotion she had never felt towards her dad, she felt anger towards him because when Cameron was in a coma and could die he wanted her to go to school!
Patrick held his breath because he knew what was coming, Robin stood next to him knowing the exact same thing.
“Yeah I'm upset dad! This isn't just something bad that's happened I love Cameron and I could loose him,and I've gotten my world turned upside down!” Megan silently added “Yet again,”
Patrick stood there silent taking every angry word Megan dished out at him, If it was normal circumstances her butt would be grounded but he understood she was upset and needed to vent.
“I understand you are upset and be as angry with me as you have to be but, you still have to go to school,” Patrick said while he had a gentle grasp on Megan's wrist.
“Fine! I'll go to school but I don't have to like it,” Megan said managing to wriggle her wrist out of Patrick's grasp and walked away feeling a twinge of guilt knowing in the back of her mind she had hurt her dad with the words she had said.
Robin leaned her head against Patrick's shoulder.
Patrick knew Megan said all of that because of the situation they were in but still it hurt because they never argued because of the close bond they had…

Chapter 12
Megan had spent the night in Cameron's room and was gathering up her book bag that her grandpa Robert had brought to GH along with Nathan. Megan slung her book bag over her shoulder and went over to cameron's bed and kissed his cheek. Something caught her eye Cameron moved his hand.
“Mom!” Megan yelled.
Robin came rushing into the room “What is it?”
“Cameron's hand moved,”
“That just might be his body responding to touch or it might mean he's waking up,” Robin said.
“Which do you think it is?” Megan asked.
“It could be either,” Robin responded not wanting to get Megan's hopes up if Cameron didn't wake up.
Megan sighed looked back and said “Okay,”
“Try to have a good day at school okay?”
“You're dad's just doing what he thinks is best for you right now,” Robin said trying to break down the wall Megan had put up separating her and Patrick. Robin didn't want a redux of the way she tried to freeze out her dad except that was totally different because Robin thought he had been dead for fifteen years, Megan was just mad because of everything and Patrick was the nearest target but still Robin didn't like it because the close bond Megan had with Patrick for seventeen years.
“So he thinks making me go to school when I'm going to have to answer questions I'm not ready to answer,” Megan asked wondering why her mom had to bring up the argument with her dad when she felt bad enough with everything going on.
“Let's just leave it at I'm none to happy with dad right now okay?” Megan said glancing back at Cameron and walking out of the room, out the entrance to her car realizing she was still angrier with her dad than she thought.
Robin walked up to the nurse's station to find Liz.
“How are you doing with everything that's going on?”
“I'm doing okay I'm just really scared,” Liz said truthfully.
“I think we all are scared,” Robin said her mind drifting back to the conversation she had with Megan before she left.
“How's Megan handling all of this, I saw her run out of here pretty fast,” Liz said remembering watching Megan run out the of the hospital really fast.
Robin was hesitant “She's really scared, she's mad at Patrick because he's making her go to school and she's freezing him out,”
“Oh boy, she really does love him doesn't she?”
“Yeah she--You heard about that I meant to tell you but with everything and trying to keep Megan from falling apart…” Robin trailed off.
“Patrick told me but, I kinda figured it out on my own with the Pizza Shack last year how inseparable they'd become,”
“We both knew our kids would fall in love eventually,”
“Yeah, except we didn't know they'd fall in love with each other, or if they did fall in love with each other that something like this would happen,” Liz said.
About that time Liz got called away to take care of something. Robin gave her a sympathetic smile as she left.
“You saw Megan run out of the hospital this morning, what happened?” Patrick asked.
“I tried talking to her about why you did what you did,”
“I'm guessing that didn't too smoothly?” Patrick asked.
“No, she's using two of the really bad traits she got from me,”
“What would that be?” Patrick asked knowing full well what it was.
“She got the Devane spit fire and she's built a wall because she's hurt,”
Patrick thought about what Robin had said and she was right, Megan wasn't only hurt because he was making her go to school when Megan thought she wasn't ready, It was because the whole situation.
When Megan walked into her first period class she was already ready to go home, She could've sworn in the past twenty minutes of being at school she had got asked at least five questions already. All questions she hadn't been ready to answer. Megan slumped down in her seat waiting for the bell to ring when someone tapped her on the shoulder, Megan thought “Oh god here we go again!”
She turned around to see who it was and it was Michelle, the girl who hadn't only tried to get Cameron away from Megan in junior high but in high school when they first started dating. On top of that she tried to make Megan's life a living nightmare any other way she knew how.
“I heard about what happened during spring break, I'm sure this is hard on you,” Michelle said in a sweet tone.
If Megan hadn't been going to school with the girl since seventh grade she might actually think she was being sincere but she knew that Michelle could care less how this affected Megan but, she wasn't going to say anything that would spark up an argument.
Megan forced a little smile and said “Thanks it has been difficult,” All the while as she said this Megan thought You don't care about how this affects me if you did you wouldn't have tried to make my life miserable most of the time. Michelle gave a forced smile and went back to her seat.
Megan sighed she knew she was acting like the B word but it was her first day back since the car accident and the last person she was in the mood to deal with was Michelle. Megan tried to concentrate on what the teacher was saying but her mind drifted back to Cameron. Before the teacher could notice the bell for second period rang. As Megan went through the hall she thought five more periods and schools over with for the day.

Chapter 13
Robin was in the middle of running her shifts when Robert walked in with Nathan.
“Hey dad,” Robin said glad to have one of her parents around.
“How's Cameron?”
“Same,” Robin responded.
“How's the Megan and Patrick situation?” Robert asked covering Nathan's ears.
“She's still really mad at him, I tried talking to her this morning before school but she didn't want to talk about it.”
“I don't know what to do to fix the rift between them because Megan's hurt and she won't budge.” Robin said.
As Robin explained the whole situation between Megan and Patrick Robert's wheels were turning on how to help Robin fix it.
Nathan cut in “Why is Megan mad at daddy?”
Robin sighed “Megan's just upset with everything that's going on right now honey,”
Nathan looked confused but shrugged it off.
“I'm just hoping that this all turns out okay and they can get back the bond they have,”
Robert gave Robin a sympathetic look and said “God knows it took time for you to forgive me about what I did and I did it to protect you,”
“Yeah Patrick's just doing this because we both know it would hurt her in the long run to stay away from school,”
Robert nodded in understanding as Nathan gave a strong tug on his arm.
He looked in Nathan's direction.
“We better go before Nathan throws a fit,”
Robin said goodbye to Nathan and Robert and went back to check on Cameron.
As Robert drove home in the car it hit him he needed to call Anna. When they walked ito the house Nathan went to his room and Robert got busy dialing the number he knew he could reach Anna at.
At the other end of the phone Anna answered “Hello,”
Robert started slowly because he knew Anna hadn't yet learned he was alive. “Anna, it's Robert-”
Anna regonized the voice on the other end but didn't believe it
“Robert Scorpio I swear if we weren't on the phone I would have strangled you already!” Anna yelled feeling anger bubbling to the surface
“I know you mad but we have a problem,”
“Um…Yeah I'm more than kind of mad Robert, for god sake you played dead for fifteen years,”
“What about Robin or have you bothered to tell her you're alive!” Anna said now feeling even more anger towards Robert.
“She knows Anna, she's know for a long time but, the problem is with her,”
“What's wrong?” Anna asked.
“Well her daughter--”
“I know who their daughter is Robert, what's wrong with Megan?” Anna asked.
“Her boyfriend Cameron is in a coma and now Megan's mad at Patrick and Robin doesn't know how to get them to mend things and-”
“You were wondering if I could come to Port Charles to help Robin with it,” Anna finished.
“Exactly,” Robert said.
After a long silence Robert said “So are you coming to Port Charles or not?”
“I'm only coming to help Robin, after I help her we'll deal with the fact you let me--and Robin for that matter think you were dead for fifteen years.” Anna stated.
Robert sighed thinking over and over “I did this for Robin, I did this for Robin,”
“Fine,” Robert said.
For the next half hour Robert and Anna discussed and came up with a plan.

Chapter 14
Robin was about to end her shift because Megan would be getting off school soon and coming back to GH and Robin might have to be the referee for round two of the freeze out. As she went to clock out Epiphany said “You have a phone call,”
Robin gave her a confused look but, Epiphany just shrugged.
“Hello?” Robin said in a questioning tone.
“Robin it's your--” Robin cut Anna off.
“Mom?” Robin asked regonizing that accent anywhere.
“Yes, it's your mother now let me finsh,”
Robin was silent waiting for her to continue.
“Robin I've decided I'm coming back to Port Charles,”
“You have, that's great mom when are you coming back?” Robin asked thrilled and hesitant at the same time because everything going on.
“I should be there tomorrow afternoon,” Anna responded remembering the dicussion her and Robert had over the phone.
“You know it's more than kind of hectic around here so you've been severely warned,”
Anna tried to think of how to respond.
“I know,” Anna said.
“Your dad called me,”
Robin knew Anna hadn't known Robert was alive because she hadn't called her in a long time and she was sure he hadn't told her.
“Daddy called you?”
“Yes,” Anna responded.
“He is still at the house babysitting Nathan the son I have with Patrick right, I mean you didn't strangle him over the phone did you?” Robin said sure that the fear she felt since she knew her mom hadn't know he was alive was showing all over her face and Epiphany could see it from where she was standing at the nurse's station.
Anna held back a laugh “Of course not, even though I was very tempted to do exactly that,”
“I don't doubt you would,” Robin said laughing
Robin felt Patrick wrap his arms around her waist as he came up behind her and she put up one finger telling him to wait and she saw him start pouting.
“But I heard everything from your dad including Megan is mad at Patrick now and you don't know how to fix it?” Anna said.
“Yeah but, can we discuss that tomorrow when you get here because Partick is right behind me,”
“Okay, bye luv,” Anna said hanging up the phone.
“Okay, I haven't seen you laugh like that in god knows how long, who was that?” Patrick said kissing Robin.
“That was my mom she called and said she's coming back back to Port Charles and she'd be here tomorrow afternoon,”
“She knows about what's going on here doesn't she?” Patrick asked.
“Yeah she knows, I was surprised she didn't try to strangle my dad over the phone,”
“Why?” Patrick asked.
“She had no idea my dad was alive until he got in contact with her just recently,” Robin explained.
“Well, If I can handle Robert- and you the combo of both, I think I can handle Anna,”
Robin smirked and said “Sure whatever you say Patrick,”
Robin knew better Patrick was in for a huge shock, If he thought she had the Devane fiestiness wait until he met the real thing.

Chapter 15

Ever since Megan got home from school that afternoon she had tried to avoid her dad but, eventually he caught up with her.
“Do I dare ask how school went?” Patrick asked trying to use the same tone he always used with her but was cautious because of the argument..
Megan looked only at Cameron not in her dads direction “Don't ask,” Megan said her voice evident of anger and hurt.
Patrick was silent not knowing what to do or say next.
Megan glanced in Patrick's direction for the first time “You want to know how school went?” Megan asked a slight edge to her voice.
Patrick winced unoticably at the sharpness to Megan's voice.
“It was the exact way I thought it would be, I got asked a ton of questions, either I wasn't able to answer because I didn't know the answer or it hurt too much to answer.” Megan finished swallowing the lump in her throat but, had tears pricking the back of her eyes.
“I get that it hurt to go back after everything that happened but, the more you stayed away the harder it would've been to go back and it still would've been hard to answer.” Patrick said remembering how his mom had died his senior year of high school.
In the back of Megan's mind she knew her dad was right but, she was still angry.
“Hard?” “School's hard on a normal day, that was…I don't know what it was but it definitely wasn't just hard,”
Patrick was racking his brain for what to say next because he didn't know what to say to comfort her at this point.
“Well…” Megan said waiting for Patrick to say anything.
“I know high schools hard by itself but, I know it's even harder when you're put in situations like the ones you've had to deal with.”
“I was in high school once too,”
“But, that was a long time ago,” Megan said avoiding her dads gaze.
“Hey it wasn't too long ago I was in high school, I'm not that old!” Patrick protested.
Megan almost smiled but held back.
“But I was only a year older when something similar happened to me but, I was forced to go back to school even when something bad happened,” Patrick said.
“You mean when…” Megan trailed off her features softening slightly
“Yeah,” Patrick said noticing Megan's expression softening not enough to be noticeable to anyone else but he definitely noticed.
“Just think about what I said okay?” Patrick said squeezing Megan's shoulder.
Megan just nodded.
When Patrick left the room Megan felt mixed emotions on one hand she was still angry and on the other she wanted to forgive him because she wanted thingsw to be back to normal between them because he had always been able to give her advice on what to do.
Megan took Cameron's hand and pressed in up against her cheek and whispered “What should I do now?”
The next afternoon Anna came to the hospital half an hour before Megan got off school.
“Sweetie!” Anna exclaimed.
“Mom,” Robin said as she hugged her.
As they pulled back Anna said “I guess things haven't been going to well?”
Robin made a face that said it all “Not lately,” Robin admitted.
“Okay start explaining an we'll go from that point,” Anna said sitting in a chair and pulling Robin down with her.
“Well you know how Megan's angry with Patrick…
By the time Robin got finished with the long story about everything that had occurred Anna's brain was working for a possible plan to get Megan to forgive Patrick.
“What do you think we should do?” Robin asked.
“Well…Maybe you could talk to Patrick and I could talk to Megan, then get them together to work it out,” Anna concluded.
Robin thought about it and her mom's plan was perfect.
“Are we going to include dad into this?” Robin asked cautiously knowing she was probably furious with him right now.
“Luv, I may be beyond furious with your father for playing dead for fifteen years but he is you're father and he called me about this, plus we need all the help we can get.” Anna stated.
Robin smiled “So what's the plan?”
Anna leaned in to whisper in Robin's ear.
Robin smiled again “Mom, you're so good at this,”
“Now all we have to do is clue in your father, then after all of this him and I will have a little over due talk,” Robin said hoping this plan working for Megan, Robin and Patrick's sake, even though she hadn't properly met him yet.
After Robin and Anna got done talking Patrick came up to them.
Robin stood up and kissed him.
After they pulled away Patrick stood in front of Anna and said “Ms.Devane,”
Anna smiled warmly “Call me Anna,”
Patrick smiled back.
About that time his pager went off. He gave a apologetic look.
Robin and Anna nooded in understanding.
Robin looked at Anna waiting for her to say something.
“He loves my daughter and I can tell that, I like him,” Anna said with approval even though she knew Robin didn't need the approval.

Chapter 16

Chapter 17
Megan was sitting in the chair next to Cameron's bed, she knew her grandma Anna had come but, Megan really hadn't gotten to meet her yet. Ever since her and her dad had that talk she had no clue what she was--She was an emotional mess that was the one thing she was certain of. She sighed trying to remember what normal was. Last year when her dad got sick Cameron had been able to help her from going crazy, now a year later she was almost in the same position. Megan was disrupted from her thoughts feeling Cameron squeeze her hand and his eyes slowly opened.
Cameron opened his eyes and everything was blurry so he shut his eyes again for a second. But, the one thing he could make out was Megan by his bed. When he opened his eyes again he could see clearly.
“Hey,” he said in a low whisper.
Megan smiled “You're finally awake,”
Cameron managed a weak smile and said
“So I've been conked out for awhile huh?”
“Yeah you could say that,”
Megan got out of the chair and sat on the bed. They both leaned in for a kiss but hesitated for a few seconds looking into each others eyes as slowly their lips connected.
What they hadn't noticed was Liz, Lucky, Robin and Patrick looking into the window…

Chapter 17

Chapter 18
Patrick and Robin walked in as Liz and Lucky stood in the doorway. Megan slid off the bed in the chair but not before Cameron gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. As Patrick checked him out Cameron noticed the tension between Megan and her dad. After Robin and Patrick left the room Liz and Lucky stayed a few minutes Lucky noticed Megan and Cameron looking at each other
“I guess those looks would be our cue to exit?” Lucky asked looking at Cameron.
“Yeah, that would be your cue to leave,” Cameron said
“Okay we get the hint,” Liz and Lucky said.
After Liz and Lucky walked out the door Megan slid back on the bed.
After a few minutes of comfortable silence Cameron said “I noticed some tension between you and your dad, what happened?”
“Trust me you don't want to know,” Megan said feeling the mixed emotions about the argument come flooding back.
“Oh I think I do,” “Come on you can tell me,” Cameron said gently.
Megan sighed “After the car crash and it was time to go back to school my dad and I had an argument about going back because I thought I wasn't ready with everything that had happened and I stormed off and went up to the roof,”
“It's been tense since then,” Megan finished.
Cameron sighed because he knew Megan was levelheaded most of the time but sometimes when she got hurt sometimes she could be stubborn.
Cameron took ahold of her hand and said “I understand that you were beyond upset but, I think maybe you should try to forgive him,”
“But--” Megan started to protest.
“Not that I'm taking sides with anyone but, I'm fine now okay, and I wouldn't want that father daugter bond you have to break over all of this,” Cameron finished.
Megan thought about it and Cameron was right she shouldn't hold a grudge against her dad since Cameron was going to be okay. She felt some of her anger towards her dad subside but, she still felt a little anger but not as much as before.
“You're right; maybe I should at least make an atempt to repair things,”
“Good, now when do you plan on doing this?” Cameron asked his eyebrows raised.
“Maybe tomrrow?” Megan asked giving him her best puppy dog face because she knew what he was getting to.
“No, now would be a good time to start,”
Megan frowned for a second but smiled.
From where Megan was siting on the bed she leaned down to kiss Cameron until she was all the way on the bed.
They pulled away reluctantly
“Now go on,” Cameron said shoving Megan upward once she was sitting up right.
Megan smiled and said “Okay, okay.”
Once Megan was out in the hall Megan thought “Here I go again…”

Chapter 18

Chapter 19
“So what's the plan?” Robert asked ignoring the glare Anna was sending in his direction. Robin noticed the glares and nudged her in the arm.
“The plan is we're going to mention something about them mending things when we're talking to Megan separately, that way she'll think about it.
“But won't that be like ambushing her?” Robert asked.
Anna glared at Robert again and said “Robert Scorpio, will you shut up and let Robin finishing explaining the whole plan?”
Robin rolled her eyes because both her parents were acting like two-year olds.
Robin thought “Thank god my kids never acting like this at that age.”
“Will you two stop acting like two year olds?” “I promise after the Patrick and Megan situation is settled you can duke it out all you want,” Robert and Anna looked at each other and then to down to their feet.
“Fine,” They both muttered.
“Good, now let's continue,” Robin said giving an exasperated sigh at how her parents were acting a few minutes earlier.
Robin, Anna, and Robert had set the plan into motion after discussing it. Robin ran into Megan walking towards the nurse's station.
“Hey where are you going?” Robin questioned.
“Oh I was just going to see dad why?” Megan asked eyeing her mom skeptically.
“I was just wondering that's all but, what were you going to see him about?”
“I was just going to talk to him about the argument that's all,” Megan replied. “You're on actual speaking terms now, does that mean you're not mad at him anymore?” Robin asked.
“I'm not promising anything but; I'm going to atempt to make up with him,”
“That's good,”
“I know you're going to ask so I'll tell you anyway, Cameron got me to tell him about what happened and got me to actually think about it and how I acted,”
“I'm glad you decided to make up with your dad because look at what being mad at your grandpa Robert did for us.”
“I know you were really mad at him during the virus outbreak,” Megan said remembering the time her parents told her about it.
“Yeah I was pretty mad because at the time I didn't understand why he played dead for fifteen years,” Robin said.
“Plus you were trying to give birth to me in the midst of it,”
“Exactly,” Robin said.
“Now go on and talk to him about it,”
Megan smiled and went to find her dad.
Robin watched her go and thought “I guess we didn't have to do as much work as I thought we'd have to,”
Megan walked up to her dad as he walked out of a exam room.
“I need to talk to you,”
“Okay,” Patrick said giving a look of shock for a second because he couldn't remember the last time she had said that.
He led her to a empty exam room and they sat down and was quiet waiting for her to talk.
“I'm sorry I acted the way I did about you making me go to school, I just didn't think I could handle it at the time;”
Patrick smiled “I know you're sorry and I accept your apology, I understood you were upset about what happened but, I knew you had to try to go because it would've hurt you in the long run if you hadn't gone back,”
“I understand that now since I'm not a emotional mess,” Megan said smiling.
Patrick reached over and hugged his daughter.
What they hadn't noticed was Anna, Robert, and Robin looking in the window.
All three looked at each other and smiled as they high fived each other.

Chapter 19

Chapter 20
It was the day they were letting Cameron come home. Megan walked in to find Cameron getting his stuff together.
“Hey,” She said stepping closer as Cameron wrapped his arms around Megan's waist.
Megan wrapped her arms around Cameron's neck as Cameron leaned in to kiss her.
“Break it up, break it up your make out session's over for now at least,” Alex said a little bit too loud so Lacey swatted him on the arm.
Megan groaned as Cameron pulled away.
Megan looked in Alex's direction “Could you say it any louder?”
Alex smiled mischievously “Megan and Cameron were having a make ou--” he was cut off by Lacey slapping her hand over his mouth.
“Ow, that hurt!” Alex exclaimed rubbing his hand where Lacey's hand had been.
“If that'll teach you to shut up I'll keep doing it,” Lacey said smiling.
Megan and Cameron glanced at each other and rolled their eyes at their friends bantering.
“I hate to intterupt what is probably round 6,000 of an argument I've lost count but, we have to go!” Cameron said.
“Fine let's go,” Alex said slapping Camern playfully on the arm.
Before they could get out the door Liz and Lucky walked in and stopped them in their tracks.
“Where are you guys going?” Lucky asked looking in Cameron's direction.
“We were going to go hang out for a little while,” Cameron said.
“Honey, maybe you shouldn't--” Liz started.
“Mom, come on you can't keep me in a bubble just because of what happened.” “It's not like I was going to do anything too hard,”
Liz and Lucky looked at each other.
“Okay if you hang out at Megan's house that's fine but, nothing else,” Lucky said.
“Okay,” Cameron said.
At Megan's house Alex, Lacey, Megan, and Cameron were downstairs watching a movie--They let the girls pick.
Megan and Lacey picked the movie “The Perfect Man”
Ofcourse Alex complained about but when Lacey smacked him he shut up real quick.
About an hour into it Megan and Cameron covered up with a blanket and they snuggled closer together and she laid her head on his shoulder.
Back upstairs in the living room Robin and Patrick were on the couch when Nathan squeezed in between them. Robin noticed Patrick looking at the basement stairs.
“Patrick you know you want to know what their doing so just go on,”
“Who me, being nosey and wanting to know what my daughter's doing downstairs with her boyfriend, you must have the wrong guy,”
Robin rolled her eyes “Patrick Drake you can't fool me we've had two kids together, I also know how protective you are of our daughter,”
“Fine I want to know what she's doing okay, I'm going down if I don't come back up in fifteen minutes you guys come down to interfere,” Patrick finished pointing at Nathan and Robin.
As he went down the stairs Robin covered her eyes with her hand as she started laughing quietly.
Nathan pulled on Robin's arm and asked “Why is daddy going downstairs?”
Robin uncovered her eyes still laughing said “Nathan you're daddy's doing that because he is insane, totally insane, Robin finished her sentence but, quietly add “That's what I love about him,”
Fragment (consider revising) What he saw he smiled but half went into protective daddy mode-- He saw Megan and Cameron under a blanket on the couch snuggled up next to each other and Megan resting her head on Cameron's shoulder. Not that him and Robin hadn't done that millons of times but, it was different seeing his seventeen year old daughter doing it. Seeing that was like a reality check that she was seven teen and almost in college, not his little girl he had to protect from everything because she was learning how to do that well enough on her own… He just had to learn how to let her go and be independent. No matter how much he wanted to protect her the way he used to.
