Here is a collection of my
websites, all of which are located somewhere on this main site. I have
a total of two domain names under my ownership, romanticsgarden.com and
kimberlymccullough.net The first one plays host to a myriad of my
assorted sites, and the second one plays host to my website on actress
Kimberly McCullough. Posted below is a bit of information on my sites,
their conception date, and links to them.

The
Romantic's Garden ::
Late 1997
The main part of this site
is also the name of the domain name. This part of the site features
my favorite television couples, and was actually the focus of the site
when I very first created it. I've always been a huge
"shipper" and have always loved following TV couples, and when I
got online at home back in 1997, I decided to try my hand at creating a
site. I used Geocities in the beginning, since it was the most user
friendly and free, and created my site using their templates.
Gradually, I taught myself more and more HTML and was able to write the
site myself. At first Geocities 6 megabytes of space was enough for
me, but as I started adding more and more pages to the site, and more
pictures as well, it just became too small. I started branching out
then, by using other free sites like Fortunecity and Angelfire to house
fanfiction and transcripts, but it just became a pain having so many
things housed in so many different places. In November of 2001 I
finally took the plunge and purchased the domain name of
romanticsgarden.com and hosted it with a company called Ipowerweb, whom I
have been with ever since.
Originally,
my focus of this site were the couplings of Jason/Robin on General
Hospital, Michael/Nikita on La Femme Nikita, Scully/Mulder on The X-Files,
and Angel/Buffy on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I eventually added more
and more couples to the site, enhancing the site look many times, to what
it is today. I now focus on 12 different couples, from daytime and
prime time.

Kimberly
McCullough dot net ::
November 1998
Begun in November of 1998,
when it was announced that Kimberly was leaving General Hospital (where
she had played the character of Robin Scorpio for the majority of 13
years, since she was 8 years old), this site is under the aegis of
romanticsgarden but is the only site of mine that has a separate domain
name.
I
started the site at the urging of a group of fellow Robin/Kimberly fans,
when the news of her departure from GH hit the net. It was created
for her fans who wanted to learn more about her, keep up with her goings
on and her work. It's grown a lot since then, where today even
some magazines surf it to find out what is going on with Kimberly for
their news sections! Although it remains an unofficial site, it is
the proud hostess of some personal messages from Kimberly to her fans, and
occasional insider bits of info on what she is up to.
In
April of 2002, the site officially registered the domain name of
kimberlymccullough.net and made it it's new home.

Shippers
Resource ::
March 2003
Shippers Resource was
created in March of 2003 in an effort to help out shippers like myself who
were venturing out into the web. It just has some words of advice,
some helpful hints, and explanations of net talk and shipper related words
to help out the new web shipping surfer.
This
is one of the few of my sites that has actually only had one look, one
design, since it's publishing date.

The
Friendship Zone ::
May 2003
The Friendship Zone was
created in May of 2003, and was added out of my love for strong, loving friendships between television characters. I decided to add a little
site to them, focusing on my particular favorite friendship
pairings. There's nothing major here, not a whole lot of updates
(although if you have a site for one of the friendships there, I will be
happy to add a link to that friendship's page), just some tidbits and a little musing
from me on why each friendship is so great.

is one of the few of my sites that has actually only had one look, one
design, since it's publishing date.

Heather's
Place ::
Late 2003
My own little personal
section of the site, where things that I want to put up but that don't
quite fit anywhere else, go. I created this section of the site in
late 2003, and it has only undergone 2 look changes, this one being the
current one. I decided to add my things to it, links to my
wallpapers and fan arts and fanfiction, pages of my poetry and musings and
reviews, links to family and friend's sites, listings of my favorite
things. Just misc stuff, that I wanted to put up, in a place all
about me!

checking it out already!
Robin
Scorpio Sanctuary ::
August 2003
One of my very favorite
television characters ever, I decided to create a site just about General
Hospital's Robin Scorpio in August of 2003. I already had a site
dedicated to her actress (Kimberly McCullough) and I already had a site
that focused on two of her romantic pairings (with Jason and with Stone),
so why not have a site dedicated just to her! So thus was born
"Robin Scorpio Sanctuary" or RSS.
Although
it has only had one look once it was uploaded to the net, I really went
through several different designs before I finally settled on the current
one.

Slashy
Goodness ::
May 2004
My latest site, this came
about mostly from my reading of fanfiction. As very few Slash
Couples (same sex couples) are canon on shows, most Slash lives out in the
writings of slash fans. I happened to stumble across some of those
in my search for friendship stories about some of my favorite male
friendships, and it started my interest. Just like my heterosexual
ships, I am not interested in any old slash couple, they have to make
sense to me. And some do. So to celebrate some of my
favorites, I created their own little section of my site, and added some
links to other slash couple sites to boot.
