Tripping Out
The Maarkham Islands
The Maarkham Islands: A South Seas getaway.
Passport Holders: Luke Spencer ventured down the island way to aid damsel in distress Holly Sutton. Robert Scorpio followed to collect the bounty on their heads. Convinced their dads were in danger, Robin Scorpio and Lulu Spencer chased after them, with Patrick Drake and Dillon Quartermaine. Anna Devane showed up when she learned that Robert had resurfaced; Tracy Quartermaine arrived and bailed thr brood out of trouble.
Must See: If you like roughing it, stay at Holly's deserted villa: There's no running water and the bathtub is in the living room. It's a great place to hide from bounty hunters and teens appreciated the privacy for make-out sessions.
Insider Tips: Avoid the local wildlife: Luke brought home an infected monkey that unleashed a deadly plague. Also, good help is hard to find; the No. 1 employer, Cyrlium Industries, went bust after testing their lab-produced virus on the indifenous population, which later disappeared when Crylium covered it's tracks.
Travel Advisory: The islands are easily accesible by air, but ground transportation isn't so dependable - although you can hire four shirtless island hunks to carry you thorugh the jungle like Tracy did. Don't run afoul of the law; the local officals are corrupt and known for feet flogging.
Overall Rating: * Bring a sleeping bag. Accomodations are hard to find since the village was torched after the outbreak.
Picture Caption: Island Fever: Despite the spartan conditions, Anna, Robert, Robin, Luke, Tracy, and Holly had a most memorable trip to the Maarkham Islands - but remeber: Bring your appetite for snake, pack your own rope and leave your jewels at home.
