Kimberly McCullough

General Hospital fans clamoring for a Jason/Robin reunion shouldn't hold their breath. "I never say never, but at this time, I have no plans to go back," states Kimberly McCullough (ex-Robin Scorpio).

With the recent returns of Steve Burton (Jason) and head writer Bob Guza, many fans are hoping McCullough will follow suit. "Thanks for thinking of me. But it's more of a personal thing," confides the actress. "It's great that they (Burton and Guza) are back. It's always nice to know that the people you like to work with are there. But it doesn't sway me to go back." (Not that GH has asked her to, she acknowledges.)

McCullough prefers to focus on writing and making films, and working in prime time, where she recently appeared on episodes of The Shield, Family Law, Judging Amy and Crossing Jordan. "When I was working on The Shield, it shoots right across the alley from GH, so I was hanging around GH while I was waiting to shoot. At least once a year I go and say hi. And I talk to Maurice (Benard, Sonny) all the time."

How does McCullough feel about GH canceling its annual Nurses Ball? "There is nobody there to carry the story," she replies. "I understand why they don't do it anymore. It's a big, huge production; it's a pain to put together every year. But it's a shame, because it's fun."
