How does it feel to be named one of Soap's Hottest Newcomers?
"I'm not quite sure [laughs]."

It must be tough playing the object of desire for so many women on the show.
"Yeah. Kimberly [McCullough] and I were at lunch when the whole female fantasy sequence came on and we ended up watching it. We just sat around and laughed."

Taping that must have been a hard day at the office.
"I'll tell you, I was a little bit nervous about it because if it didn't look good, then it was going to be laughable. So, I was concerned. I wanted it to be as good as possible."

Are you feeling at home now?
"I'm really enjoying it now. I'm feeling quite comfortable. They've got me busy, which I'm happy about, so I'm just trying to do the best that I possibly can."

Does being labeled a hunk make your eyes roll?
"To a certain extent. I know just being in the business and having a certain look, doos possibly open up for you, but it's your job to be prepared for when those doors open. That's what I'm focusing on right now - just trying to do the work and give merit to what the writers are doing."

What's been your biggest splurge?
"I bought a house, which is unbelievable. I'm so thankful for the people who gave me the job, but you never know when you'll be on the oeprating table and flatline [laughs]."

What's been your most embarrassing moment to date?
"Probably when Jill [Farren Phelps], our executive producer, came up to be one day and said, 'Watch the tongue.' I didn't realize I was tonguing someone! I honestly don't remember! And she was like, 'I'm not saying you did, but...' [laughs]."
