Hot Topic : Rick Springfield's Return
What A Hottie!
Is it just me, or does Rick Springfield look damn good for being 20-some years
older than we last saw him? I mean, he was pretty disheveled when Noah was
wasted, but he cleaned up fabulously. And in that gray suit, he can
operate on me anytime! He's still got that boyish quality that never gets
old. - Lola Tenney
Like Father, Like Son
I really like this back story that they've written for Noah and his son,
Patrick. It seems like Noah's drinking is guilt-based, and I bet his son
has something to do with that. It looks like the animosity between father
and son is going to cause one of them to explode. And, by the way, they
really look like they could be related. Nice casting choice. - Frannie

I'm Hooked!
There had been so much hoopla about Rick Springfield coming back to GENERAL
HOSPITAL and, considering I didn't watch the show back then, I didn't get it.
But now, after seeing him, I get it! My mom, who hasn't watched GH in
years, went all gaga when she heard he was back and immediately turned on the
TV. Now I know why she reacted the way she did. Count me in as a new
Noah fan, and count my mom in as a returned GH viewer. - Michelle Chao
A Standout Performer
I have only known Rick Springfield as a rock singer, so it came as quite a
surprise that he guy is actually a darn good actor! He looked so scared
and ashamed and in pain. When he told Robin he couldn't go back to Port
Charles because he didn't want anyone to see him "this way," I almost
started to cry for the poor guy. His emotions and sadness seemed very
real. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all pans out. - Ellen Keener
Staying Power
I know that it's up in the air how long Rick Springfield will be around, and I'm
not on to beg, but I'm about to...Powers that be, do whatever you must to keep
him around, okay? Know that nostalgia is "in," even if we
weren't around to watch those events unfold when they first happened. And
please, don't ruin him by making him crash and burn before his time, like you
did when Rick Webber came back. I still haven't gotten over that. - Bonnie

Music to My Ears
This whole Rick Springfield craze is all new to me. I didn't know who he
was, so I wanted to wait and see him on the show. Yeah, the guy is easy on
the eyes, and he seems to be a good actor. Then, hearing he's also a
rocker, it all piqued my curiosity, so I downloaded "Jessie's Girl"
last night. Okay. That's enough, I'm sold. Where's the next
concert? - Lisa MacDonald
Rockin' Robin
I was really impressed by the chemistry and ease between Rick Springfield and
Kimberly McCullough (Robin). Then someone pointed out to me that they made
a movie together where they played father and daughter. It should be interesting
to see where they go with this, considering Noah might be her father-in-law
someday. - Patty Schaefer
A Love Connection!
If seeing Noah Drake wasn't enough to send me dancing in the streets, seeing him
interact with Alan and Monica and then give Bobbie a big, warm hug certainly did
it. I hope Noah and Bobbie hook up again, just for old times' sake.
He needs a confidence-booster, and she needs, well, him! They were so into
each other once that it would be the height of romance if, 20 years later, that
fire was rekindled. - Corie Higgins
