Jason.

Despite
her crush on him, as Jason Q. he wanted nothing more than her friendship, but
as Jason M he wanted much, much more. Robin was the first person that Jason
saw when he came out of his coma, but it wasn’t until their second meeting
on the bridge when they really connected. She was the first person who had
known Jason Q that accepted Jason as a separate person, and Jason was
instantly infatuated. Robin, however, was still recovering from the loss of
love Stone and the knowledge that she was HIV+ took a little longer than he to
see that their friendship had deepened into something more. But with Jason’s
patience and support, Robin found herself emerging from her grief and fear and
falling in love. Their relationship remained one of mutual love and support,
despite his affair with Carly Benson and the physical distance put between
them with Robin’s attendance at Harvard. But the strains of the dangers
Jason put himself in while working for Sonny took their toll on their
relationship and after Jason was shot, Robin couldn’t take the fear of
losing someone else she loved anymore. Despite her attempts to get him to
quite the mob and come to Paris with her (where she had received a scholarship
to the Sorbonne), he refused and they broke up. When Robin returned to town
several months later, she discovered that while Jason’s circumstances had
changed (he was now in charge of the mob since Sonny’s absence and
pretending to be the father of ex-bed partner Carly’s illegitimate son),
their feelings for each other had not. Jason wanted her back, but not at the
expense of her peace of mind, and so left it to her. Frantic when first
Carly’s infant son Michael went missing, then Robin, he was able to track
them down and rescue them from Tony Jones. It wasn’t until Jason was almost
killed in a plane accident that Robin finally realized that being with him was
better than not, and went back to him. Jason was thrilled and shortly after
she moved in with both him and Michael (Michael’s mother Carly had tricked
her way into a mental hospital stay); he now had the two people he loved the
most with him. But the happiness was not to last when Carly was released and
tried to use his love for her son to manipulate Robin out of his life and
herself into his bed. Despite Jason’s broken promises and Carly’s tricks,
it wasn’t until he decided to move in with Carly and Michael until they were
"settled" that Robin finally gave up. Knowing that it would never
end and sick of the lies and Carly’s unceasing manipulations, Robin broke it
off with Jason and finally did what she had wanted to do all along: she told
AJ that he was really Michael’s father. Jason, feeling betrayed by Robin
telling the truth, blasted her for her revelation, but an unrepentant Robin
refused to back down. She left town with her head held high and returned to
Paris to start a new life for herself. It was the last time that the two saw
each other.
