The oldest child of Luke Spencer and
Laura Webber Spencer, Lucky was born off screen, while Laura and Luke were on
the run from mob boss Frank Smith. A smart, crafty boy, he took after
his dad, and showed this when the family was separated after an attempted hit
on them. Lucky made it to Port Charles on his own, with his parents
following him. A border line near do well like dad, this is countered by
a strong moral fiber from his mom. He adores his younger sister Lulu,
and over time, has come to accept and even love his older half-brother Nikolas
Cassadine. He had a crush on Sarah Webber (a relation by marriage to his
mom), that never amounted to anything, and became romantically involved with
Sarah's younger sister Elizabeth after Elizabeth was raped. Finding out
that his father had raped his mother before they got together, shattered him,
and caused him to break away from both of his parents. Eventually, he
reconciled with them, but was presumed dead a few years later in a fire.
It turned out that it was a fire set by Cesar Faison, a mortal enemy of Robert
Scorpio's (see Cesar Faison storyline) who caused the "deaths" of
both Robert and Anna, who somehow became an enemy of Luke's (regardless of the
fact that Luke had never met him). Faison faked Lucky's death, and his
partner in crime Helena Cassadine brainwashed the young man and brought him
back to town. Lucky was eventually freed from this brain washing, but it
cost him Elizabeth, as he didn't remember actually being in love with
her. He briefly reignited his thing with Sarah Webber, but it fizzled
out too.
